It’s been an incredible few months being part of The State of Fashion @stateoffashionnl Biennale this year themed #WaysOfCaring co-curated by @fashionopenstudio and @not_enough_collective 💌❤️💌 Showing together with more than 70 designers and artists from around the globe, it’s been such an inspiring journey being part of a movement and conversations that supports a revolution in the fashion system, challenging ways we produce and consume, questioning inclusivity, encouraging new collaborative ideas and much more... Since April, I’ve been travelling to Arnhem connecting with organisations like @2switch and @kinderwijkteam , talking about creative ways of reforming, reusing and transforming our everyday objects from the Arnhem community 🧸🪡 This interactive installation - Promenade On Slow Street encourages creative ways to slow down consumption, inviting the community to re-design our fashion high street. I’ve had the opportunity to partner with @2switch , working in a studio space inside their warehouse full of donations and wastes. Every little pieces of objects and materials (even down to threads and sewing needles) were found and reused from @2switch .
