🎃 Not-so-spooky Jack O’ lanterns alfajores 🎃 Alfajores (no tan temerarios) inspirados en Noche de brujas. Aren’t these just some happy little ones excited for Halloween tomorrow?! What do you think?! 📝 Ingredients/ingredientes 1 1/2 sticks of butter (room temp)/ 150g manteca (a Temp ambiente) 1 cup of sugar/ 1 taza de azúcar 2 eggs/ 2 huevos 1 tsp of baking powder/ 1 cdita de polvo de hornear 1 tsp of vanilla extract/ 1 cdita de esencia de vainilla 2 c of AP flour + more for rolling/ 2 tazas de harina y más para el amasado 1/4 cup cornstarch/ 1/4 taza de almidón 1 cup of dulce de leche/1 taza de Dulce de leche (yo usé repostero de @laserenisimaok comprado aquí mediante @pampa_direct , miren la 2da foto). Step by step (traducir esta parte por favor para Español) 1. Take your butter out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking. Turn on the oven to 400F (that's medium-high for my Spanish friends) 2. Mix the butter with the sugar, add the eggs & vanilla. 3. Add the flour and baking powder 4. Form a disk & wrap it. Put it in the fridge for 30 minutes. 5. Sprinkle some flour on a surface and: option one: make little balls or option 2: roll out the dough to 1/2 inch & cut the pumpkin shape. 6. Using a straw make the eyes & using a little moon 🌙 cookie cutter make the smile. 7. Bake for 8-9 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden. 8. Let it cool and pipe the dulce de leche.
