BAJA 1000 Man what an experience! My co dawg @schoonmaker134 and I had zero experience in racing a sxs but we killed it. @aweiland27 handed us the car at RM 440 down on time due to getting stuck in the silt. By race mile 705 we made up a big amount on time and we were still in the hunt for a good finish but the car ended up breaking 80 miles from the finish and had to be limped into the finish but still ended up 10th! Thank you @aweiland27 for letting me check a box on a life goal of mine! I’ve been wanting todo Baja 1000 ever since my Dad raced it in 1995 in his single seater 1600. To say I have the racing bug again is an understatement haha. Hope to get behind the wheel real soon! Thank you everyone that helped us out this past weekend! A huge thank you to my wife for supporting this and making sure we had everything we needed to race.
