Can’t believe we’ve been married twelve years already. Feels like I just met you. But then, we do have a small army of offspring, so I guess that’s proof we’ve been at this awhile. When we were planning our wedding, I was told to ask in a dream when and where we should get married. So I wrote the question down on a pad of paper - without telling you - and went to sleep... I dreamt nothing. The next morning, you woke up and told me about this odd dream you’d had where the guy who was to perform our ceremony told you three times that his birthday was August 1. Stunned, I showed you the question I’d written down the night before. Turned out that guy was going to be in Israel on that date. There’s more to the story, I know... but if I wrote it ALL down no one would believe it. And that’s pretty much how it’s been with us: Surprising, a little illogical... and magical - in a way that could never have been conjured up independently... it’s always required us both. There’s no one I’d rather co-create a life with, no one be I’d rather wake up next to, and no one I’d rather be sick in an RV with 3,000 miles from home with six kids.
