Crying in H Mart Book Review: 4.2/5 ⭐️’s This one hit close to home. Anyone who’s lost a parent will find this a heartbreaking journey of loss, grief & guilt. Essay turned book turned movie (soon). Michelle Zauner takes us on the journey of deterioration & death of her mother, Chongmi, from cancer. The relationship between them & the process of finding yourself while losing a parent. Zauner does an exceptional job describing the connection/disconnect between mother, daughter & the traditional Korean foods that brings them together. I connected so much to this book and relived memories of also losing a parent at the age of 25. Seeing them become weak and pass on was not easy and it makes you wish you were a better child. Appreciate your parents. Because this one will have you missing them. Even if you’re lucky enough to still have them. #whatsinmybag #cryinginhmart #bookclub #bookstagram #currentlyreading #reading #read #books #bookreview #korean #japanesebreakfast #michellezauner #kindle #kindleoasis #kindlepaperwhite #amazon #amazonkindle #airpods #airpodsmax #aesthetic #bookrecommendations #kindlebooks #kindlejenner #rareEDbookclub #nytbestseller #nytimesbestseller #ugc #usergeneratedcontent #contentcreator #photooftheday
