At rePurpose Global, we are committed to ‘restoring nature’s balance’. We are taking this #worldnatureday as a chance to celebrate some of the work of our coalition of waste innovators, brands, individuals, and sustainability practitioners. Our 14 plastic recovery projects spread across Asia, Africa and South America work with local waste management pioneers to provide community-led solution to the plastic pollution crisis. They would not be possible without support from our brand partners and others who play a role in preventing millions of tonnes of plastic leaking into natural ecosystems. Each project poses unique challenges in the realm of tackling plastic pollution. One thing that unites us all is our acute understanding of the significance of taking immediate and meaningful action.
