COUTURE UPCYCLING: Bespoke blouson made from a vintage race worn nomex fire suit. ⁣ ⁣ Our friend @_dreebs came to me wanting to create something special. He wasn’t sure exactly what but in conversation he brought up his love of motorsports and that his father actually raced back in the day. ⁣ ⁣ He showed me some photos of him in his one piece racing suit and the 💡 instantly went on in my head... “We are using that.” ⁣ ⁣ I had the vision of taking his fathers racing suit and turning it into a beautiful cropped blouson lined with silk that he could wear casually. To honor his father and to take such a cool piece of him with him to show off. ⁣ ⁣ @scarletlex & @dante_v85 worked tirelessly to deconstruct, reconfigure and reconstruct the piece into the jacket you see here. ⁣ ⁣ We even added some clever details like alcantara suede (the same used in race cars) in the quilted hem and inside the collars and cuffs. ⁣ ⁣ The jacket was carefully reconfigured to have a front hand pocket and all original branding and patchwork remained on the coat.
