And I’m just so in awe of her journey! •had me at 21 while in college •pushed through as a young mom to complete her BA at 27 •packed up our bags to go work for Congressman Ron Dellums in Washington DC at 28 (w/6 year old me) •took her connects/skills and opened up an economic development firm at 31 •Longed to complete an unfinished dream, so she attended USC 20 years later to finish her masters. •realized that what she valued more than anything was giving back to the community. So she became the Executive Director at the Crenshaw YMCA in her late 40s. Nip would be so proud! 🏁🏁 •Now through hard work and determination she has passed her classes and is officially approved to be a Doctoral candidate at one the best schools in our nation; USC BABBY♥️💛 at 51. Dr. Veda Ramsay-Stamps is loading YALL! This is for all the ladies, Black Womxn, Womxn of Color, Moms—it’s never to late to go and get what you want, start over, or change paths!
