Director #KathrynBigelow was honored for her work and achievements in film by her peers James Cameron, Angela Bassett, Mark Boal, Willem Dafoe, Martha Coolidge, Bill Paxton, Liam Neeson and more during a special DGA event celebrating the Guild’s 75th Anniversary. With her film The Hurt Locker, Bigelow became the first woman to win the DGA Feature Film Award and the Academy Award for Best Director in 2010. Bigelow has also directed movies including Zero Dark Thirty, Point Break, Near Dark and more.
