July Rice Rep Update: This month I got the amazing opportunity to join the other rice reps in a cooking class where we got to not only learn how to cook different nutritional meals but also play a trivia game where we learned different ways rice facts. Like how Arkansas has been the nations leading rice producing state for over 50 years, rice production contributed to more then $1 billion to the states economy, and so much more. I also got the chance to share my knowledge about the program I am involved in to my local news station, KATV. I was able to not only talk about some of the facts I learned but also about how I got involved into this amaxing program. Thank you Arkansas Rice Federation for getting me interested in the Rice industry and thank you KATV for giving me the opportunity to share with Little Rock.
