Quick embroidery lesson by Mercês to celebrate the beauty of craftsmanship and all our pieces that need time and extra love 💘💘💘 Mercês actually made one of the white pants from our last season with typical Terceira Island embroidery (white on white) and she’s actually the best teacher ever ✨ these clips are from our last visit to her lovely house where she showed us her amazing archive. Also some clips from our visit to @bordadomadeiraembroidery who welcomed us at the very beginning of BÉHEN showing us the entire process of Madeira typical embroidery. It’s always sooo much fun to spend time with the ladies and to hear all their stories and I wish we had more time to actually share with you more of these 🌞 It can be *intense* to work with these techniques and to actually understand all the layers and complexity of working with artisanal crafts but it’s definitely the most rewarding and I’m always in awe just thinking about the knowledge that BÉHEN now holds thanks to these beautiful life teachers ✨✨✨✨ Video edit by @helena_dsmendes with some clips by @anigroeg.ph
