Today, I had the honor and privilege of celebrating the extension of the Los Angeles Purple (D Line) with my fellow local leaders and the President of the United States @potus. I remember working to obtain funding for The purple Line, under now @vp Vice President Kamala Harris, so to see this come into fruition, I’m in awe. I know how important this venture will be to our city and our community. I'm grateful to be a part of a project that represents a very pivotal moment of progress for economic development and sustainability; specifically with @karenbassla @repkarenbass Karen Bass’ recent legislation to prioritize local hires.
