✨ Happy TWO years ✨ Year one of marriage was all butterflies & rainbows 🥰 Then year two hit us and it was rough, real rough 😬 Probably the hardest year we’ve had since being together... but grateful God remained faithful through it all and it made us draw that much closer to him. We found out last year John’s dad was diagnosed with cancer, then a few months later when his dad was going through radiation that his mom was diagnosed with leukemia. We spent time flying back and forth splitting our time between norcal & socal, but the hardest part was probably when we ended up being separated for a whole month when John stayed up north and I came back home. It was such a tough season but we learned to trust in the Lord and experienced for the first time the true meaning of being ONE & united in a marriage. John’s problems were no longer just his own. They were OURS and WE had to learn how to get through them together. Family health issues + discovering more personality differences between us + us both being imperfect human beings = made year two a wild roller coaster of a ride. But as much as we fight, I am so grateful to have a husband to fight with and a marriage to fight for! I have no idea what year three will bring (no kids yet though lol) but I am confident we can get through anything if we align our hearts to Christ and continue to live for him 💕 Love you John Yang and I promise to choose to love you every day, even when it’s not easy! You are still the best thing to have ever happened to me (I wouldn’t have Bereans or Mika in my life haha) 😛 I am truly so lucky and I still think I married out of my league (in terms of personality) 🙃
