Valley views of Vermont ⛰ A few weeks back I had the urge to tackle a sunrise hike so with the alarm clock set for 3:50am, I went to bed. Woke up, toasted a bagel, poured some coffee, and hit the road. After a 30 minute drive with no traffic, I parked and headed towards the summit. It took less time than I remembered to get to where I was going but that just gave me extra time to sit in the stillness of the morning. Once the sun started to peak, I got excited. Blast of red and orange crested over the mountains but unfortunately it was short lived. I was still able to snap a few quick photos before clouds completely overtook the sky.
