March 5, 2022: Expedition Reclamation had its in-person World Premiere at the 7th Annual No Man’s Land Film Festival, the leading women’s adventure film festival, in Denver, CO. And we won ✨ BEST IN FESTIVAL. ✨🤯 After 18+ months of pouring our hearts and souls into this project, 18+ months of late nights and whirlwinds, 18 months (and counting) of deep gratitude for the stories and spirit our 12 phenomenal characters entrusted us with...we made a film. We MADE A FILM. In the process, we deepened our connection as a women-led creative team; we experimented to implement a collaborative, decolonized storytelling practice; and we got to build a community that is unfathomably supportive, imaginative, and energizing (that’s you!). So today we’re reflecting, deeply humbled and fully joyful.
