Sandro’s Restaurant just launched lunch-only Italian paninis, and in my opinion, they’re the best sandwiches on the UES. The focaccia is made from scratch in-house each morning, the meats and cheese are imported from Italy, and the spreads are homemade by Sandro himself! They only make 30 sandwiches per day, and they’re only available at the bar or to-go. You can order online in advance to secure yours, and I highly recommend doing so!
