// Eddie Aikau is an absolute legend. He was the first ever lifeguard of North Shore and saved hundreds of lives, while also conquering massive waves that few others dared. To me, the Eddie represents the duality of safety (never turn your back to the ocean y’all) and risk-taking (#EddieWouldGo) — recognizing danger and knowing your limits.
