Last week, Know The Chain released a report on forced labour risks across the 3 high risk sectors, which includes apparel and footwear. Here are some of the findings we found interesting: ❌ 1 in every 2 companies assessed doesn’t disclose whether or not a human rights risk assessment was carried out in their supply chains. ❌ 66% of companies do not disclose forced labour risks identified in their supply chains. ❌Of 43 companies linked to allegations of forced labour in supply chains, almost three quarters (72%) failed to provide evidence that impacted workers were remediated.
