there are two types of hobbyists that emerge from the pandemic: bread bakers and amateur podcasters. given the inedibility of my bread baking, i leaned into story telling instead. travel has been the one constant in my life for the last decade. it's consumed my every waking thought and moment. with all the time spent grounded, one thing became clear: that what i craved most was the community and connection that came with embarking on new journeys. though in the US we are currently grounded, one thing we can still do is escape through stories. i hope that these episodes provide a soft departure from all the noise that’s out there, and that in spite of everything, takes away the feeling that the world is a still beautiful place. i hope you will enjoy listening to these stories as much as i did. the art of travel is created by olivia lopez, produced by @themjeans, music composed by @slowshiver, visuals by @geneticboi. tune in on tuesday for the first episode.
