This costume, and the village that came with it deserves at least three posts, which it might get over some time. Ben was the first god we got to see on @cwlegacies and the weight of his backstory written by Brett Matthews and @pricepeterson, and directed by @huntvision, was not lost on me. There were so many subtleties, details and intricacies that I didn’t want to be lost. I was making his accessories, draping his leather belt along side @salt_n_k3pper and glueing all the armband and amulet bits to make sure they coincided perfectly with Ash’s. Every single person in my department had a part in bringing Ben, Ash, and their village to life. Everything was custom made, dyed, aged, and shaped with a whole lot of love. . Getting this character right meant everything to me, and then once I got to know @zanethan I worked even that much harder to make sure every detail of Ben’s character was spot on- in both our fantasy modern day and past. .
