Huge thank you to the Starbucks Union organizers, the Oklahoma county Democrats, the DSA of Oklahoma City, and everybody else who showed up today to make this day possible. We are currently living amidst a labor movement that will rival similar ones of the past. Our society, post-COVID, has come to understand that we do not have to accept the constraints on our personal growth and our employers do not hold the keys to the future. We have all begun to know that we are our future and begun to walk hand in hand with one another. We can see this through the refusal to return back to abusive offices after COVID. We can see this through the recent push to unionize large companies like Amazon and Starbucks. We are one another's keeper and on this Labor Day, I hope you take rest you deserve, but also move forward with independence. Nothing About Us Without Us 💛
