If you work in one of these industries and are interested in talking with high school students about your career, we'd love for you to join us as we Empower Construction's Next Generation through our Classroom Talks initiative. ⁠ ⁠ Classroom Talks, sponsored by @thetorocompany , brings construction and skilled trade professionals directly into middle and high school classrooms using virtual presentations. ⁠ ⁠ As a Classroom Talks presenter, you will have the opportunity to talk with students about your career path, a day in the life, and what you love about your job. Following the presentation, there is a Q&A session encouraging students to interact with the presenters. ⁠ ⁠ Wondering what the time commitment is? A typical Classroom Talk is 45 minutes, with 6 to 7 presenters attending each Talk; presenters will have about 5 minutes each to share their story. Because this is a virtual presentation through Zoom, you can participate from your office, a piece of equipment, the trenches, or whatever job site you are on!
