Yoo back on the radio with a big gnarly club mix for @pseudonymrecords 🤘 I’ve traditionally had an unhealthy tendency to swing between periods of oversaturating myself with dance mixes and then taking looong periods off out of exhaustion and overwhelm. My last peak time DJ mix (aside from the tape, which is still available on bandcamp 👀) was in November 2019 and I recently had the panic-inducing experience of being described as an ‘ambient-oriented artist’... so this one came up at the perfect time and for the perfect people. Sam and Sam were both on my radar before starting the label, but the stuff they’ve been putting out together is on its own level. Especially working with one of my favourite producers of the last few years, @borderlandstate . The sound is weird and technical, but fully optimised for the dancefloor and fully slamming.
