The 8 vector hop is one of my staples to help teach landing mechanics and develop tissue tolerance for change of direction. This is a deceiving hard drill that will likely show asymmetry issues between legs… a great diagnostic tool while coaching. The key is plenty of practice and proper cueing of what the coach is and is not looking. Here is a live rep from one of my college soccer athletes.
