Outside of school, students tend to spend time in their community churches, libraries and community centers. It is at these places where they make connections with others who can understand what they might be going through, lean on trusted adults for support, and feel a sense of community. Not only do trusted adults have the power to impact and increase school meal participation among teens, they also can expand access to community meals through targeted communication. 🤝
