Juliana Madrid’s debut EP is out today and I am so proud of her & our whole team that has made this happen. We have poured a lot into this body of work and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out & the response it’s been getting. The lead single Pretend was started when I had just got a new drum set and recorded a little shitty garage rock idea on it and sent to her. She sent back this voice-note demo in the 3rd slide & I knew it was going to be a special song. Flash forward a year and its on New Music Friday 😭 Moral of this story is just make things with your friends & ppl you love and great things will happen 🤝 The other slides in this post have the first photo we took together in November 2019 when we met and the moodboard she had sent me when we started working together. We couldn’t have done it without our amazing co-writers / label & team, shout out to allll of them and all my followers for putting up with the constant JM Spam.. sorry I’m not sorry! <3 We’re just getting started !
