We’ve put a lot of thought into the role we play as event organizers and DJs in DC. While our team is fairly small and new to putting on shows at the scale we’ve been doing over the past few months, we would like to do whatever we can to ensure that you all - our beloved attendees - feel safe and comfortable in the spaces we curate. To that end, my team and I have enlisted the assistance of a few members of our community in the DC nightlife world to serve as space monitors for any shows we play from here on out. These monitors are familiar faces to anyone whose spent time out dancing in DC, and are intended as a resource for the dance community here in our little city. Beyond keeping a watchful eye on the dance floor, they are also here to serve as a familiar face you can approach if you’ve encountered an issue and need help resolving it. Additionally, we’ll be providing our monitors with narcan, tampons, pads, phone charging banks, condoms, and a few other items so please feel free to approach any of us should you need our assistance. You’ll be able to recognize us in the crowd as we’ll have red bracelets and the ever-so-fashionable fanny pack. After my sets, I will join our monitors for the remainder of our shows.
