Homemade chicken tenders 🎉🎉 When my kids were little - this was one of their favorite dinners. I am a chicken tender fan - if I am at a restaurant that has tenders on the menu - 99% of the time that's what I order 🤣🤣 Here's how I make it and tips you need to know. Ingredients: 1.5 pounds chicken tenders 1 tablespoon canola oil 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup corn starch Salt and pepper 1 tablespoon @grillin_with_dad all purpose rub Directions: Place the chicken tenders in a large Ziploc bag. Add the oil and shake to coat the chicken. Add the seasonings. Add the corn starch and flour - close the bag and shake until the tenders are coated. In a deep skillet add about an inch in depth of canola oil. Its a shallow fry - doesn't have to be submerged. Heat on medium heat for several minutes.* Add 4-5 tenders at a time - you don't want to overcrowd the pan. Cook 4 minutes - turn over and cook another 4 minutes.** These turn out great every time! *to test if the oil is hot enough - place a wooden spoon in the skillet. If the oil bubbles around the spoon - its ready to go! If the oil starts to smoke - that's too hot - turn the heat down and wait a few minutes before cooking the chicken. **I cooked mine in 2 batches. Once the first batch was done - I kept them warm in the oven at 250 degrees Share with a friend and definitely tag me if you make this 🤩🤩🤩 #chickentendersarelife #chickentenderfanatic #homemadetenders #jenncooks
