🌴🌴🌴This work, Straddle, will be included in @faugalleries ‘s Invitational of Contemporary art of the Southeast. I took some pics while packing it today, as it feels poignant to send a work that is partially made from my grandmother’s table cloth back down to Florida, where she was born and raised. . At first I was drawn more to the scalloped edges than the maternal lineage of the object. It can be both/and. . Thanks for including, more on that show to come in 2023! 🌴🌴🌴
