END OF AN ERA~ Congratulations to @yokeyoga for twelve great years. Yoke is more than this little humble studio in Union street. It’s the teachers, past and present, the community that have been through the doors, the admin crew behind the scenes, the teacher trainees that are now out in the community teaching and the vision and leadership of @chriswilson.yoke 🤍 I am honestly humbled to have been apart of the Yoke community for the last seven years. It’s been such fertile soil for good yoga and has made me the teacher I am today. I remember the first time I taught at Yoke. I was nervous for the whole day thinking about the idea of it. There was always such a strong list of teachers and such deep yoga being practiced in the space. You could feel it in the walls. Thanks to my good mate Chris for trusting me to teach in the team and for all of your wisdom and friendship. To all of the wonderful teachers that have taught me and mentored me at Yoke over the years. I have definitely learnt so much from so many of the best. To the amazing community who woke up to practice early mornings or rushed from work to take class with me at 6pm. I value all of the crew I’ve met and conversations had. It’s been an honor and a beautiful experience of community and kindness. I have such fond memories of this little space. Yoke lives on. In the teachings, teachers and community. Thank you, thank you🤍
