SWITZERLAND RECS Here’s your plan - Fly into Zürich - drive to Lake Lucerne and stay at @parkhotelvitznau for the most relaxing vacation of your life and the most stunning heated pool spa you’ve ever seen. take a 10 min ferry to @burgenstockresort and buy a spa pass their spa is hanging on the side of the cliff above the clouds ☁️ it’s magical. also have lunch at the Asian fushion restaurant it’s incredible overlooking the mountains and lake. 2-3 days tops in lake Lucerne. If you want more ambiance stay at @burgenstockresort Drive or train to Zermatt it’s where the infamous Matterhorn mountain is, we didn’t get to go this trip but I regret it the village looks incredible and there are tons of ski in and ski out hotels that look lovely. Next take the infamous glacier express train to st moritz. This train has glass ceilings and goes through the Swiss alps with the most spectacular views. There’s more life in st moritz than Zermatt. But Zermatts skiing and views and village are unique. In st moritz my favorite hotel is @badruttspalace Everything about it is epic , their concierge arranges your ski passes / transportation (5 min drive) ect and there’s a ski shop at the hotel where the service is exceptional. the indoor outdoor heated pool is insane gym has all latest equipment and amazing views , yoga and the only night club in the city is in this hotel lol. Only thing I’d say about Badrutts Palace is it’s VERY family friendly lots of kids in the pool. If you are traveling with your family or don’t mind this is the spot. If you want something more quiet stay at @kulmhotel . There are so many activities, Definitely go ice skating on the frozen lake and even try skijorking where horses pull you on your skis 😂There are lots of amazing restaurants with great ambiance. Some that I love are Chesaveglia , Matsuhisa, Hato, Steffani Hotel, and a MUST is white marmot for lunch on the mountain with the most spectacular views and food when you’re done skiing. You can also get here by tram without skiing. The party lunch spot on the mountain is Paradiso.
