We had a wonderful time talking about her latest novel, #TheTwoLivesofSara! This book takes you to the segregated south — 1960’s in Memphis, TN. I loved the the way Cathy gives the reader the fullness of Black literature, music, art, hope & love in this story. “I’m telling a story about Black people apart from the proximity to whiteness. Our lives are not defined by the racism around us. The ability to express joy and love and happiness; anger and tragedy and sadness without it being about race and racism was paramount. It is a fresh and generous, yet well-balanced, with a medium-bodied palate and a scented, peachy finish. 44% Syrah, 25% Grenache, 24% Mourvèdre and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. A very delightful rosé with a reasonable price point.
