Sometimes folks get disappointed when they interview me for a podcast or show and they find out I don’t believe in “The One”. They want to know “how do we find a Conscious Relationship” and “how do I meet a Conscious partner”? But the answer is not a simple one. Who knows if you are meant to grow spiritually in the container of partnership, or individually? We are all here with unique soul lessons, and how that is meant to express through you is as unique as the sky above. You cannot compare, or model someone else’s journey and hope to get wherever you are meant to go. There are no tips or tricks, strategies or formulas to follow, because Conscious Relationship isn’t something you go out and find, it is something you embody. One of my teachers used to say “The only purpose of Conscious Relationship is to confirm each other as whole and complete”. What this means at the root, is that while we are all distracted looking for love in the external world, or trying to find our “other half” we are missing the point. We are and have always been whole. Our worth is not dependent on our relationship status, and another person cannot do the hard work of inner-transformation for you. That said, when we really begin to integrate our own shadow parts, and reclaim ourselves as whole beings, the capacity to co-create and experience transformation within partnership becomes expansive and limitless.
