Few shots from my 15th Summer up in the Wild West. I first came up to Alaska when I was 10 years old, 15 years later it still gives me that same feeling it did back then. Being off the grid and fully emerged into what you’re doing is a unique special thing for me. Going from swell chasing / filming to being up here isn’t so different (besides not being on my phone lol) At times I get bummed out seeing / hearing about all these incredible swells happening while I can’t be there. But at the same time I’m so pumped that the friends I’ve met are out there scoring them while I’m scoring something different at the same time. And that makes me appreciate the days / swells that I’m there for even more. About a month and a half left then back to chasing waves!
