First and foremost: LINK IN BIO. I gave myself so much room and grace in the process of creating this album not to “outdo” what I did before, but to evolve in how I create. Evolve in how I write. Evolve in how I produce. Evolve in how I tell stories. I know one thing: I don’t ever plan on piecing together another album without a band. Braylon, Frank, Daniel and I went on an adventure, had no idea where we were on our way to, but I’m so grateful we took that trip together. In 2001, @Kelis released her sophomore album “Wanderland” and to this day is still one of my favorite albums and played such a major part in my artistry. This album is a homage to her and the way she paved the way for my eye and my ear. Thank you, Kelis. You’ve always been that girl. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help me bring this vision to life.
