As a very Free woman, what's happening in Iran and the rest of the world outrages me and touches me viscerally As women, if you attack one of us, you attack all of us. There's something about us that unites and concerns us all. May it be our compassion, our love, our sensibility, our devotion or simply our ability to carry life and experience it We are your sisters, your daughters and your mothers and as carriers of life we should be treated as such. Life is a gift and so are we; them, who are fighting for their rights - for all women's rights and moving things forward Being here in 2023 is a mind fuck, women protesting for education and employment and others for - simple - natural rights of existence or over their own bodies ? How insulting ! Yet, insane progress has been made.. if we look back a couple of decades ago, occidental women couldn't even vote, have their own bank account, work / live on their own ?! We ARE moving forward Our mothers generation was probably the first proper generation starting to emancipate I had the privilege to grow up in a quite matriarchal environment, where women were in charge and didn't even try to be "equal" to men, but just be their own entity. and so we shall be.
