Foilayage placement/adding depth 🎥 Start with a v parting taking teased slices on each side If your client needs dimension you can add lowlights by taking a horizontal slice right above the v like partings. I always suggest using a tone one to two shades darker than their natural base. I also suggest using a board so your lowlights don’t get splotchy I love the @cooboard (use code LISA20 for 20% off) The way you tease is very important!! ✨Finer more sheer teasylight - start the tease 3/4 of the way down. ✨Bolder pops of dimension -start 1/4 or 1/2 of the way down so you’re left with more hair to paint, creating a ribbon of color. Apply lightener to the center of the foil and feather upward making sure to leave pockets of depth Alternate between horizontal and v like parting to mimic a balayage Pro tip!!
