Excited to announce an update regarding the Sports Marketing Practicum that Felipe Ledesma and I have been working on. I'm thrilled that this project is now ready to begin accepting student applications, with the goal of improving the dynamics of SEU's business program while adding value not only to the school but also to the students who participate. The aim is to address the lack of brand awareness and brand equity of Southeastern University in Lakeland by creating a class that empowers top students to imagine, develop, and implement strategies to solve this issue. Not only will students earn 6 credits, but they will also set themselves apart from their peers when interviewing with future employers. Participants in this practicum will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a safe environment, one where they can take risks and use first-principles thinking, free from baseline assumptions, to tackle a real marketing challenge. If you’re a sophomore or junior at Southeastern University, I encourage you to attend the seminar we’re hosting on Monday, April 14th at 6:30 PM in W112.
