For @joefreshgoods x @newbalance. Directed by Me. Our goal with this was to create something that resonated with Us and showcased Chicago and our people in a beautiful & vibrant light. The west side, of course is very important to JFG, but is also a big part of my family lineage, so it was fun to really dig back into into that nostalgic summer feeling of spending time at my grandma's 👼 house and day camp, pre-smart phone times lol...and fused with Joes strong vision and brand DNA. It’s always a pleasure to come back home and collaborate with a lot friends, on and off the screen...Ive known Joe 10+ years now, went to middle school with @aaliyahgaston, and @raphaelnash was one of my early film mentors as a late teen...so this was a beautiful full circle moment.
