.
As the weather is drastically getting warmer, it’s time to share this post again.
.
I cant stress enough the importance of covering up when the weather is hot.
I’m seeing too many brides/maids who have neglected to cover up and they are left looking like this.
.
Unfortunately there is very little I can do as an artist and even a skin specialist to make this right.
when there are so many different tones on your skin it’s almost impossible to colour match you correctly.
The redness will always win.
This is skin damage. You will 100% regret it,
It’s important to note that Makeup will NOT apply correctly to a burnt skin, the skin is damaged.
especially the nose as the skin is already to thin.
Bridesmaids please also take note, think ahead to your friends wedding photos.
Edit*** so many photographers have left their view also, unfortunately it takes hours of editing and work to try and hide this, and sometimes it’s impossible.
So please don’t rely on photographers to fix this.
.
So cover up, wear a hat and I know I constantly say it, but wear SPF.
Not in your foundation or moisturiser.
It must be a stand alone product, and it must be a physical, broad spectrum.
Mineral not chemical.
I sell AlumierMD in my clinic.
.
If you do end up with burnt skin, apply aloe Vera kept in fridge every few hours.
Apply AlumierMD recovery balm every night to repair the skin and SPF
Edit*** so many photographers have left their view also, unfortunately it takes hours of editing and work to try and hide this,
Yours sincerely
Every bridal artist & photographer
