My last school visit as Miss New York... in selfies 🤍 It’s hard to put into words how much these students have meant to me—not just this year, but over the last ten years as a titleholder visiting schools in the places I’ve called home. I’ve grown up in these classrooms just as much as the kids sitting in them. At this last visit, a teacher asked me what lesson I’ll take with me most. I think it’s this: love your neighbor, fully and without conditions. Children know only love—until the world teaches them otherwise.
