💜Today is world prematurity day💜 a day that we didn’t know a lot about but we will now forever celebrate. We thought today would be a fitting day to announce our little miracle who arrived 13 weeks early. We are 81 days in at the Leicester NICU & special care unit (neonatal intensive care unit) and we cannot thank the staff enough, all staff here have played a huge roll in not only looking after our daughter but looking after us too. The nurses and doctors we will be forever grateful for as they have saved our daughters life on numerous occasions, to the cleaners and adapt support workers who have looked after us as parents. Each and every staff member is incredible 💗Welcome to the world Eden Lyn Smith💗 Born 13 weeks early on 28.08.2022 Weighing 1 pound 15 ounces Eden is the strongest most resilient little girl that we know and her will to live amazes us every day.
