Spent some of the last days of my 20s in a historic tourist hotel in Jeonju, South Korea (also apparently the only place in the world with stainless steel bathtubs). I cried a lot in there, for many different reasons. Ate a lot of 7-11, specifically tuna mayo samgak kimbap. Sent out emails. Learned lines. Danced a little. Thought about how full this last decade has been. Listened to people sing karaoke at all hours of the night. Watched the sun rise as I tried to fall asleep during our overnights. Every morning I dipped the ends of my hair in cold water to make them spiral curls again (continuity). Texted people minutes after being with them because we just liked talking so much. I read poetry and sometimes sent pictures of poems to friends. I love making movies because I am never lonely, or if I’m lonely I’m not afraid of the feeling. Deb even came to visit me and took a nap :)
