On the occasion of Artist Spotlight, we're highlighting this piece by Natasha Stagg, which reflects on the movies Jim Shaw (@jimshawstudio) chose for his curated film program at New York’s Metrograph (@metrograph) cinema. In the fall of 2021, in partnership with Metrograph and Gagosian, Shaw organized a series of six conspiracy-minded films revolving around thorny questions of truth, guilt, fantasy, and innocence, leading Shaw to revelations about the fringe notion of “frazzledrip.” Follow the link in our bio to read the article.
