Funfetti pretzel dogs?! Just in time for the big game!🌭🏈 Be sure to save the full recipe below!📩 You’ll need... 1 3⁄4 cup Funfetti Cake & Cupcake Mix 3 cups All-Purpose Flour, plus more as needed 1 tub Funfetti Confetti Vanilla Frosting 2 1⁄4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 package) 1 1⁄4 cup warm water 1⁄2 tsp salt 48 cocktail-size smoked link sausages or hot dogs 3 tbsp baking soda 5 cups water (for boiling) Coarse salt (optional) Melted butter (optional) Directions: 1. Mix cake & cupcake mix with yeast, 1 1⁄4 cup warm water, and salt until just combined. Knead in all-purpose flour until a dough ball forms adding more as needed. Cover and let sit at room temperature for 1 hour or until doubled. 2. Sprinkle flour onto a clean work surface. Punch down the dough and knead slightly to remove excess air bubbles. Divide dough into quarters and roll each half into a 12-inch rope. Cut into 1-inch pieces to make 48 pieces of dough. Pat hot dogs dry using a paper towel. Roll each piece into a rope and flatten slightly. Wrap one rope around each hot dog, slightly overlapping each layer, and pinch the ends to secure the dough. 3. Boil 5 cups of water and slowly add baking soda. Slowly add pretzel dogs to water in batches and boil for about 30 seconds. Sprinkle on coarse salt. 4. Bake in a preheated 375°F for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Brush with melted butter, if desired. 5. Remove all foil bits from frosting tub and microwave for 30 seconds or until melted and pourable. Serve pretzel dogs with frosting and sprinkles from frosting lid. #funfetticake #funfetti #hotdogs #superbowl #gameday #appetizer
