The rule is... there are no rules. I love to do away with formulas when styling. Instead, I build vignettes or arrangements intuitively with opposing shapes, unpredictable textures, and juxtaposing scales. And I urge you to do the same. Go on, forgo convention, turn the “don’ts” into “do’s” and foster that silent, intimate language meant to bring joy to your eyes.
