One of the biggest obstacles for families can often be access to childcare, with many parents having to sacrifice jobs because of the lack of care for their children. Promise NYC steps in to help more #newyorkers – undocumented families and asylum seekers – who want to have good paying jobs and make sure their children are cared for safely. Promise NYC will help families who previously didn’t qualify for other state or federal programs due to their immigration status. In addition, the program will help newly arrived asylum seekers. We are making this a fairer #newyorkcity for all families regardless of immigration status. This program will go a long way at ensuring these New Yorkers have opportunities for brighter futures.
