Thank you all so much for the absolute outpouring of support that we received for our first show. Words can't describe how it felt to see all of you dancing ‘til your heart's content with @livwutang, @brc_dc, @world.building, @futuretiming, @side_ii_side, and @z4y.aan For those of you who know us, you know that we're always working on what's next. Over the past few months, we've kept our heads down while building out the infrastructure for our new collective, booking shows, programming lineups, and dealing with the details involved in this whole operation. In a little over two weeks, we're returning to the decks to celebrate our joint birthday for an incredibly special night with Danilo Plessow / MCDE @motorcitydrumensemble and @notenoughsoulmusic on Friday, September 16 🎂🎉🥳 If you were to go back in time to when Madeleine and I played our very first show together 6 years ago and tell us that one day we'd close out a warehouse show for Motor City Drum Ensemble, I think our jaws would hit the floor. Every Thursday for years, Madeleine and I would rinse MCDE records in our sets.
