A few random thoughts- SPOLIER ALERT!! So Max is going to admit to Vecna that Billy did indeed suck but she never mentions him being a racist... I'm also still so upset with how Erica is an archetype of a sassy Black kid and they never give her more dimension. We finally get Lucas a family and Erica is one of the smartest most resourceful characters, I just wanted more for her!! It's also unrealistic. Her whole family is code switching and assimilated but her...? In the 80s in the suburbs of Indiana and you're telling me she has not internalized yt supremacy and respectability??? If she has not than great, I would assume she would be more than the sapphire archetype... And how Lucas and Erica had to fight for their lives?!?!?! Naurrr. Ion like it!!!! You can't tell me there were no racial undertones to them fighting those jock kids that could not let Chrissy go!!! Yt writers!!!!
