A Historic Moment in Sport. @kellyslater just a few days before turning 50 won the @wsl pipeline pro. 30 years after winning his first of eventually eight pipemasters and 1st of 11 world titles. "best win of my life" Kelly said after. I made this video to capture what this contest meant to Surfing and to Kelly. The Pipemasters is in memory of the great Andy Irons. It was truly special to see Kelly, @lyndieirons and Andys son @axelirons share that moment on stage after. It was also very cool to see @sethmoniz carry Kelly up to the podium after their heat.
